Having originally set out to serve the local Leicestershire business community, our reputation as a signage specialist has spread across the Midlands. Today Alpenโs network of clients extends throughout the UK. Our specialist signage team provides nationwide coverage using our own fleet of vehicles, conveniently located close to major road networks.

We are also accredited as Safe Contractor and Contractor Plus. Our installation teams are fully qualified with CSCS, Safety Passport, IPAF and PASMA certificates, have many years of high level access and sign fitting experience and are first aid trained.

Martin Allen is the founder of Alpen Signs and remains in an executive capacity in the day-to-day running of the business. Launching locally, Martin has expanded the signage company nationwide over the last four decades. Prior to launching the company, in 1984, he had gained in-depth business and sales experience with several local and international firms. He has further developed with expert knowledge in his field over many years working in the sign trade.

Stuart Kenney, has almost 40 years experience in signage. Working his way up the ladder from his initial apprenticeship in traditional sign writing and digital screen printing, he has been an integral part of the creative element of Alpen since the very beginning. Having joined Alpen Signs at an early stage, Stuart has grown with the company and is now responsible for all aspects of the extensive Alpen Signs manufacturing operation.

Joanna Holkham is the ultimate expert in sign making. Her every day is overseeing stringent briefs produced within tight deadlines. With extensive experience in the sign manufacturing trade she brings total efficiency to her role. Managing a large number of sign writing projects, simultaneously, Joanna strikes the ideal balance of friendliness and professionalism and is always willing to assist a client should a concern arise during production.
